Cette collaboration vise \u00e0 acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer l\u2019innovation et \u00e0 favoriser des partenariats mondiaux profitant aux \u00e9cosyst\u00e8mes technologiques canadien et ta\u00efwanais. <\/p><p>Depuis sa fondation en 1973, l\u2019ITRI joue un r\u00f4le d\u00e9terminant dans la transformation \u00e9conomique de Ta\u00efwan en une nation ax\u00e9e sur l\u2019innovation. Son expertise dans le d\u00e9veloppement des circuits int\u00e9gr\u00e9s a men\u00e9 \u00e0 la cr\u00e9ation d\u2019entreprises embl\u00e9matiques comme TSMC et \u00e0 la r\u00e9alisation de travaux de R-D de pointe au b\u00e9n\u00e9fice de l\u2019industrie. <\/p><p>\u00ab Alors que le Canada b\u00e2tit une \u00e9conomie plus r\u00e9siliente et comp\u00e9titive, CMC Microsyst\u00e8mes est particuli\u00e8rement heureux de collaborer avec l\u2019ITRI. lancer un service sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9 de <strong>fabrication en c\u00e9ramique co\u2011fritt\u00e9e \u00e0 basse temp\u00e9rature (LTCC \u2013 Low-Temperature Co-Fired Ceramic)<\/strong>, offert en collaboration avec le laboratoire <strong>LTCC@\u00c9TS<\/strong>, membre du centre LACIME \u00e0 <strong>l\u2019\u00c9cole de technologie sup\u00e9rieure (\u00c9TS)<\/strong>. Ce service de calibre industriel fournit aux chercheurs et innovateurs commerciaux une voie simplifi\u00e9e vers la cr\u00e9ation de prototypes de composants \u00e9lectroniques miniaturis\u00e9s et hautes performances destin\u00e9es \u00e0 des applications telles que les capteurs et l\u2019\u00e9lectronique m\u00e9dicale, l\u2019\u00e9lectronique automobile, l\u2019\u00e9lectronique satellitaire et les communications RF\/micro\u2011ondes\/ondes millim\u00e9triques. <\/p><p>Alors que les industries repoussent les limites des communications 5G\/6G, de la technologie satellitaire et des dispositifs m\u00e9dicaux, le besoin en solutions robustes et \u00e0 haute densit\u00e9 d\u2019int\u00e9gration n\u2019a jamais \u00e9t\u00e9 aussi important. deuxi\u00e8me s\u00e9rie du D\u00e9fi de d\u00e9veloppement de proc\u00e9d\u00e9s de fabrication.<\/p><p>Ax\u00e9 sur deux volets \u2014 les MEMS, les semi conducteurs compos\u00e9s, les proc\u00e9d\u00e9s quantiques et photoniques ainsi que les proc\u00e9d\u00e9s li\u00e9s \u00e0 la photonique sur silicium \u2014 cet appel offre aux petites et moyennes entreprises canadiennes (PME) de moins de 500 employ\u00e9s un acc\u00e8s accru \u00e0 des capacit\u00e9s de prototypage commercial.<\/p><p>Depuis des d\u00e9cennies, les universit\u00e9s canadiennes, les instituts de recherche et l\u2019industrie ont d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 des capacit\u00e9s de fabrication de semi\u2011conducteurs de calibre mondial. Des technologies de proc\u00e9d\u00e9s avanc\u00e9es utilisant des mat\u00e9riaux comme le GaN, l\u2019InP et le SiN, aux plateformes de dispositifs \u00e9mergentes bas\u00e9es sur les lasers, ces infrastructures constituent des atouts nationaux essentiels pour les PME innovantes qui d\u00e9veloppent les proc\u00e9d\u00e9s et produits de prochaine g\u00e9n\u00e9ration. <\/p><p>Le riche h\u00e9ritage du Canada en t\u00e9l\u00e9communications a \u00e9galement donn\u00e9 naissance \u00e0 des capacit\u00e9s de premier plan en photonique sur silicium. Cet h\u00e9ritage, combin\u00e9 aux capacit\u00e9s avanc\u00e9es de traitement des semi\u2011conducteurs dans nos instituts de recherche, positionne le Canada comme un chef de file dans le secteur en forte croissance de la photonique sur silicium, alors qu\u2019elle devient le pilier d\u2019Internet, de l\u2019\u00e9cosyst\u00e8me des centres de donn\u00e9es d\u2019IA, ainsi que de nombreuses applications \u00e9mergentes en a\u00e9rospatiale, consommation et d\u00e9fense. <\/p><p>Ces installations sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9es demeurent toutefois difficiles d\u2019acc\u00e8s pour les petites et moyennes entreprises. FABrIC cr\u00e9e, am\u00e9liore et \u00e9largit l\u2019acc\u00e8s des PME \u00e0 ces proc\u00e9d\u00e9s \u2014 permettant au secteur priv\u00e9 de concevoir des produits faits au Canada utilisant des semi\u2011conducteurs fabriqu\u00e9s au Canada. Ce service de pointe est offert en partenariat avec l\u2019Institut interdisciplinaire d\u2019innovation technologique (3iT) de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Sherbrooke, \u00e9tablissant un nouveau pilier majeur pour l\u2019innovation quantique au Canada. <\/p><p>Alors que l\u2019informatique quantique passe de la recherche th\u00e9orique \u00e0 une utilit\u00e9 industrielle \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle, la capacit\u00e9 de prototyper et de fabriquer du mat\u00e9riel sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9 localement devient essentielle. Cette nouvelle fili\u00e8re au sein de la plateforme de microfabrication du 3iT \u2014 dont les co\u00fbts pour la recherche acad\u00e9mique sont subventionn\u00e9s par FABrIC, un projet financ\u00e9 par le gouvernement du Canada et g\u00e9r\u00e9 par CMC Microsyst\u00e8mes \u2014 offre aux chercheurs, aux jeunes entreprises et aux firmes \u00e9tablies un acc\u00e8s simplifi\u00e9 \u00e0 des proc\u00e9d\u00e9s supraconducteurs avanc\u00e9s, la plateforme mat\u00e9rielle de choix pour plusieurs des ordinateurs quantiques les plus prometteurs au monde. Durant son doctorat, il a \u00e9t\u00e9 consultant au National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA). Il est actuellement professeur titulaire en g\u00e9nie \u00e9lectrique et directeur fondateur du laboratoire LTCC@\u00c9TS \u00e0 l\u2019\u00c9cole de technologie sup\u00e9rieure, \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al (QC).    <\/p><p> <\/p><p><strong>Normand Gravel<\/strong><br>Normand Gravel a travaill\u00e9 chez Mitel S.C.C de 1987 \u00e0 1994 comme technicien en \u00e9lectronique pour les \u00e9quipements de semi\u2011conducteurs dans des salles blanches de classe 100. De 1996 \u00e0 2009, il a travaill\u00e9 chez Ramtron Canada comme technologue principal en tests \u00e9lectroniques, responsable de tous les tests et de la caract\u00e9risation des ASIC d\u00e9velopp\u00e9s par l\u2019entreprise, sur plaquettes et sur puces encapsul\u00e9es.<br>Depuis 2010, Normand est technicien et gestionnaire des laboratoires LACIME et LTCC@\u00c9TS \u00e0 l\u2019\u00c9cole de technologie sup\u00e9rieure, o\u00f9 il d\u00e9veloppe le proc\u00e9d\u00e9 LTCC et assure la maintenance, l\u2019exploitation et la formation des \u00e9tudiants et utilisateurs sur tous les outils en salle blanche.   <\/p><p><br>Mustapha Belhaj<br>Mustapha Belhaj a obtenu sa ma\u00eetrise en g\u00e9nie \u00e9lectrique, syst\u00e8mes automatis\u00e9s, \u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Tlemcen (Alg\u00e9rie) en 2013. En 2016, il est arriv\u00e9 au Canada, o\u00f9 il a obtenu un dipl\u00f4me en syst\u00e8mes \u00e9lectrom\u00e9caniques automatis\u00e9s et m\u00e9canique industrielle de l\u2019\u00c9cole de technologie de Montr\u00e9al Sud\u2011Ouest en 2020. Il a travaill\u00e9 comme \u00e9lectrom\u00e9canicien chez L\u2019Or\u00e9al puis chez Nova Steel. En septembre 2022, il a rejoint l\u2019\u00e9quipe du laboratoire LTCC@\u00c9TS \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al, o\u00f9 il est responsable du laboratoire et des fabrications LTCC.  <\/p><p><br>Ines Amor<br>Ines Amor a obtenu un baccalaur\u00e9at en \u00e9lectronique de l\u2019Institut Sup\u00e9rieur d\u2019Informatique et de Math\u00e9matiques de Monastir (ISIMM), Tunisie, en 2019, puis une ma\u00eetrise en g\u00e9nie \u00e9lectrique de l\u2019\u00c9cole de technologie sup\u00e9rieure (\u00c9TS), Montr\u00e9al, en 2021. Durant sa ma\u00eetrise, elle a perfectionn\u00e9 ses comp\u00e9tences en conception mat\u00e9rielle, particuli\u00e8rement en composants micro\u2011ondes reconfigurables.<br>Elle est actuellement doctorante en g\u00e9nie \u00e9lectrique \u00e0 l\u2019\u00c9TS. Ses int\u00e9r\u00eats de recherche portent sur l\u2019application de la reconfigurabilit\u00e9 dans les surfaces intelligentes, dans le but de relever des d\u00e9fis en t\u00e9l\u00e9communications.   <\/p><p><strong>Amr Samir<\/strong><br>Amr Samir est sp\u00e9cialiste en int\u00e9gration et encapsulation RF\/MEMS\/NEMS au sein de CMC Microsystems.
