Quantum Networking Day

In collaboration with Quantum City, CMC invites you to take part in a day of networking opportunities and short presentations by industry and community members.

The Quantum Networking Day is a great opportunity to learn how to create your quantum start-ups, what challenges and opportunities are present in the quantum technology field, discussing the transition from academia to industry. Moreover, a showcase of quantum companies will be followed by panels on careers in quantum for both scientists and non-scientists. Breakout tables and multiple breaks will allow participants to discuss in smaller groups and networks and discuss further with the speakers, and we will end the day with a cocktail event. A large contingent of graduate students and experts in the field participating in CMC’s Build your Own Superconducting Quantum Device Workshop will also be present at the event, providing a great opportunity for companies looking for personnel and interns to make contact with people from institutions across the country.

For more details on the Networking Day program, see the schedule below.

The target attendees for this event are both scientists and non-scientists, industry members from Alberta and the rest of Canada, members of the quantum ecosystem, graduate students interested in the field and looking for potential career opportunities as well as start-ups, ecosystem lead and organizations that support quantum activities in Canada.
