Designed for hands-on learning, the annual Superconducting Quantum Device Workshop is a key part of CMC basecamp™.

Workshop Overview

This hybrid workshop combines a virtual seminar series with up to 16 hours of lectures over several weeks, followed by a 2.5-day focused in-person event. This virtual seminar series will deliver foundational concepts in superconducting device design, with technical training on advanced topics in the superconducting quantum device field. A distinguished mix of industry experts, academic leaders, and invited speakers will lead the content, selected by an expert committee in collaboration with CMC Microsystems. The in-person event will bring together the Canadian superconducting device community to share their latest innovations and hear from global leaders in the field.

Target Audience

The target audience for this workshop are graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, professors, and industry experts with an interest in superconducting quantum devices.
